Wyoming Council for Advanced Practice Nursing - WCAPN

The Wyoming Council of Advanced Practice Nurses (WCAPN) is an independent, non-profit council that seeks to promote Advanced Practice Nursing in the state of Wyoming.   In 2006, WCAPN's membership elected to become an affiliate of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

Membership in WCAPN is open to all Advanced Practice Registered Nurses who hold a Wyoming APRN license or who practice in a federal facility based in the state of Wyoming.   While WCAPN is affiliated with AANP, AANP membership is not a pre-requisite for WCAPN membership.  APRNs eligible for membership in WCAPN are Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Certified Nurse Midwives, and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists.

Thank you for visiting the WCAPN website.  We hope you find the information and links on this site useful.   We encourage all Wyoming APRNs to consider membership in WCAPN and welcome your comments.
